LTM
has been a racing & riding area for 34 years. Some
people may think that ‘LTM may have become smaller’,
going from 280 to 213 acres; but it’s really gotten
bigger.
Part of the land was farm land, but now it is all
riding area. This enables us to build a practice
track, play areas & mud pits.
On the racing side, we’re looking forward to being
able to offer a variety of racing events, with both
MX (motocross) and HS (hare scrambles).
“Rumor has it” we are leveling the track & starting
over; but we aren’t. We are going to add some new
sections, so we will have different options on
running the track.
One of our main goals is to keep excellent soil
conditions “NO water on hard pack”.
Whether you’re racing HS or MX, these tracks are
going to be built for racers by racers!!
Our goals for this year are; (1) Try to get some
green grass! (2) We are working on building
restrooms, showers and a new concession area.
We have a
LOT of plans
for the future. Track is open to the public all
year long. Track memberships are available. *We are
a new DNR riding area. Stickers are required on the
east side of the road. Stickers are available at the
track.
SO, whether you are coming to race, ride, or relax
for a couple days, there’s plenty of room for
camping. More electrical hook-ups will be available
soon. All new tanks for clean Sunoco race fuel.
Sincerely,
Tim ‘TJ’
